I rejected the

brand new computer I
found on my desk

while working at
Columbia Pictures
in Burbank, California

eventually, I came around,
of course -

but not without much
whining and great

trepidation the quality
of my work would suffer

I was wrong - big time

we all know how convenient
and easy 'typing' a document

on a computer is - especially
edits!

but the best thing about all
this fine technology

is that communication with
Ian - in oh so far away

Afghanistan

feels like he is right
next door

can you tell I got a grand
email from him this morning?

has a marvelous affect
on my mood . . .

gonna be a great day !
